To determine the baseball or softball division(s) your child may play in, use the appropriate baseball- or softball-specific charts below.
- On the Age chart (specific to baseball or softball), find the month your player was born in across the top, then find the year in which they were born below the month. Your player's League Age will be identified on the same row in the column at the far right.
- On the Age Breakdown chart (specific to baseball or softball), use your player's identified League Age to determine in which Division(s) he or she may play.
The League will assign players to divisions based on these age guidelines (in accordance with Wrightwood Little League Ground Rules). Players may be placed in more advanced divisions within their age brackets based on experience, demonstrated ability, and to accommodate competitive play. Parents may request a player be placed in a specific division, however, the final decision will be up to the League and its coaches.
It is also important to understand that players may be placed in a specific division simply based on the number of players registered for the various divisions. A greater number of players signing up allows for greater flexibility in division assignment.
